Healthcare Business Intelligence Developer

Job Overview Impact Advisors employs a BI Developer to collaborate with an agile multidisciplinary team to develop high‑quality data products that support data‑driven decision‑making across the enterprise. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain reporting, information, and analytic solutions across EHR data models. Write advanced SQL scripts, including performance tuning. Create ETL packages, visualizations, and perform data/business statistical analyses. Develop metadata structures for the enterprise data warehouse. Lead peers and troubleshoot complex issues while aligning with organizational goals. Serve as a technical resource within cross‑functional teams, facilitating project planning and delivery. Communicate effectively in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment and negotiate solutions with stakeholders. Qualifications 3+ years of experience developing complex SQL scripts and advanced SQL programming. Hands‑on experience with analytical & BI tools (MS SQL Server, SAP, Tableau, SSRS, Power BI, Qlik). Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent). Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Proficiency in data flow diagramming, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and metadata management. Epic Certified: Cogito and Data Model (clinical, revenue cycle or patient access) current; 3+ years using Cogito tools. 2+ years experience with Power BI or Tableau data visualization. Passionate about data‑driven development, reliability, and experimentation. Self‑motivated, adaptable, and strong collaboration skills; experience in an agile product team. Certifications & Experience Epic Cogito certification (current). Epic Data Model certification – clinical, revenue cycle or patient access (current). 3+ years in multiple Cogito tools (Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Cogito SQL, Radar). Strong SQL experience. 2+ years Power BI or Tableau data visualization experience. Travel & Compensation Travel required based upon client needs.
