Operations ManagerThe Operations Manager – is a key role on the Pet Supplies Plus operations team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for all Inbound functions.The Operations Manager will prioritize, assign, and review work to maintain efficiency and meet productivity, volume, and quality goals.Responsibilities/QualificationsOperations Manager key responsibilities include:Ownership of all supply chain functions and provides guidance to staff their assigned areaKnowledge of cost account management process & activities, forecasting, people management principals, professional development, progression planning and talent management with ability to effectively direct the company's practices.Provide analysis and insights on trends in KPIs; monitors all KPIs for adherence to standardImplements corrective actions when operation deviates from operating plan and delegates to ensure correction is appropriate and effectiveProvides leadership and guidance to all staff for continual improvement of key functions and activities to improve efficiency and meet increasing customer and business demandsExperience with 5S/ Lean/ Six Sigma; implementations and eventsKnowledge of AIB standards and Enforce safety/housekeeping standards to meet standards, participates in annual audit for certificationImplements layout changes to improve velocity, performance and reduces labor costs.Complies with all OSHA, federal, and state policies that optimizes safety within the facilityAdditional responsibilities as assignedPAWsome Operations Manager candidates will have:8-10 years warehousing and distribution experience8-10 years Management experienceUndergraduate degree in Business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAble to work flexible shifts/hoursWMS, specifically Manhattan WM experience, preferredInterpersonal and conflict resolution skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs.About CompanyPet Supplies Plus is focused on making it easier to get better products for your pet.
