Job Highlights

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients which include physical examinations and in-depth medical history evaluations
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care strategies
• Provide critical support during surgery, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and diligently passing instruments as needed
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
