Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,944–$2,016/week

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide coordinated nursing care to an assigned group of patients while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• 32 total beds

  • 29 Med/Surg/Telemetry beds

  • 3 Step-Down beds

• Med/Surg ratio: approximately 1:5

• Step-Down ratio: approximately 1:3

• Telemetry/Pediatrics: approximately 1:4

• No routine floating required

• Weekend coverage required

• Call may be assigned based on census

• Hospitalist coverage 24/7

• Pharmacy 24/7

• Phlebotomy 24/7

• Unit Secretary 24/7

• Medication system: Omnicell

• Documentation system: Cerner

• Active California RN license

• Recent Med/Surg/Acute Care experience preferred

• EPIC experience – REQUIRED per requisition

• ACLS – Required

• BLS/CPR – Required

• PALS – Preferred/optional for first contract

  • If the traveler extends for additional contracts, PALS must be obtained

• BSN preferred

Important EMR note: The requisition specifically requires EPIC , while the facility Q&A identifies Cerner as the current documentation system. Candidates should be screened for experience with both systems.
