Responsibilities:

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments across multiple providers and service lines
• Answer inbound calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect necessary demographic information
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with healthcare providers, staff, and patients
• Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Follow up on cancellations and no-shows to optimize provider schedules
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience in medical scheduling, medical reception, or a healthcare administrative role preferred
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
• Must have 2-3 years scheduling experiance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a professional attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent required
