About the Role:

As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality care that meets their unique needs and preferences. You'll collaborate with our Director of Nursing to develop and implement patient care plans, lead staff meetings, and provide guidance and support to our nursing team. Your expertise will help drive positive patient outcomes, improve patient satisfaction, and promote a culture of excellence within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and adherence to established policies and procedures

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, prioritizing patient-centered care and positive outcomes

• Conduct staff meetings and provide coaching, guidance, and support to ensure that our nursing team is equipped to deliver exceptional care

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient outcomes

• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Foster open communication and collaboration with other departments, including therapy, social work, and dietary services to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a healthcare setting

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
