As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.40 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting unusual conditions and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
