Job Overview

As a Utility and Dish Room Worker, you are essential to the safety and success of our dining operations. You will ensure our kitchen and dining areas meet the highest sanitation standards while supporting the culinary team with logistics and organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Dishwashing: Collect, wash, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment from the kitchen and dining room using a high-temperature dish machine or 3-compartment sink.
• Sanitation Maintenance: Sweep and mop floors, empty trash cans, and maintain clean restrooms and common areas.
• Inventory & Logistics: Assist with receiving and putting away food deliveries using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) organization to ensure freshness.
• Safety Compliance: Complete daily temperature and sanitation logs as required by food safety policies.
• Team Support: Assist with kitchen prep and sanitation tasks as needed by management.

Qualifications

• Communication: Must be able to read and write English to follow safety logs, cleaning schedules, and supervisor instructions.
• Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage dish flow and storage areas efficiently.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or changing shifts as needed.
• Team Spirit: A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

DISH TEAM: In a fun, and spirited commercial kitchen setting, you will perform duties on a busy Dish Line ensuring safe and sanitary working conditions are implemented. Must also be willing to roll up the sleeves and pitch in where needed including assisting in kitchen prep, dry stock and sanitation.
