Job Summary:
The position for an MRI Technologist is based in Reno, Nevada. This role involves producing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, assisting radiologists and referring physicians in imaging procedures, and ensuring patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Reno, Nevada
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, with shifts of 12 hours each, rotating days of the week, mainly weekends, and varied graveyard shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.), MRI Registry required at the time of hire, and a minimum of two years of clinical or hospital-based MRI experience gained through on-site training. Applicants with certification in MRI (R.T., R.M.R.I.T.) or a current license are preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in radiologic specialties within the last five years and familiarity with MRI physics, contrast media, and hospital computer systems.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up an additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
