Mobile Maintenance Technician

Job Summary Our maintenance technician will be a critical member of our team, keeping our facilities running smoothly to increase customer safety and satisfaction. This role includes preventive maintenance, corrective repair, and miscellaneous duties at multiple facilities. You will assist in monitoring building system operations and performance, interact with facility team members and customers, and utilize trade skills including mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting. Responsibilities Complete assigned work orders related to repairs and upkeep of facilities, including general repairs to fitness equipment and amenities in the Black Card Spa. Complete work in a clean and professional manner. Maintain an organized inventory of routine parts and supplies. Perform preventative maintenance duties and maintain record keeping. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Travel to multiple locations as necessary. Listen actively to customers, coworkers, and the public; empathize with their perspectives and collaborate to solve problems. Recognize and define problems, analyze relevant information, encourage alternative solutions, plan resolutions, and seek additional assistance when needed. Interpret and follow instructions, correspondence, and work orders; complete computerized work orders and correspondence; respond to common questions or complaints from clients, coworkers, and supervisors; coordinate with local facility management, third‑party vendors, and customers as required. Apply basic analytical skills to understand and execute general instructions, and identify and resolve maintenance and mechanical problems. Qualifications 2+ years of related experience and/or training (preferred). High school diploma or GED. Experience and working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work (preferred). Valid driver’s license. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Physical Demands Regularly lift between 5 and 20 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Stooping, standing, walking, occasionally climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, bending, and twisting. Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
