Cardiology Physician

We areseeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist toprovide locum tenens coverage in Roseburg, Oregon. This opportunity offers24-hour call coverage with a combination of inpatient and outpatientresponsibilities, including interventional procedures, STEMI coverage,diagnostic catheterizations, and clinic consultations.
PositionDetails

• Shift Type: 24-Hour Call Coverage
• Patient Population: Adults (18 Years and Older)

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for interventional cardiology services
• Evaluate and manage inpatient and outpatient cardiology consults
• Perform coronary angiograms, diagnostic catheterizations, and interventional procedures
• Provide STEMI coverage and perform emergent PCI procedures as needed
• Interpret echocardiograms and stress tests
• Manage right and left heart catheterizations
• Collaborate with hospitalists, emergency physicians, and cardiovascular teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the facility's electronic medical record system

• Average of 5 consults per day while on general call
• Approximately 2-6 coronary angiograms per day across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Clinic Volume: 14-16 patients per day
• Appointment Length: 30-minute appointment slots

• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations
• Right and Left Heart Catheterizations
• STEMI Intervention and Coverage
• Echocardiogram Interpretation
• Stress Test Interpretation

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Completion of Fellowship Training in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Oregon Medical License
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
• Active DEA Registration
