Avid Core

Job Description

Job Description

Do you enjoy developing clear, effective communications that support complex infrastructure projects? Are you skilled at coordinating outreach efforts, managing data, and engaging stakeholders in a fast-paced federal environment?

Avid Core is seeking a Communications Analyst to support a federal contract focused on real estate acquisition for large infrastructure projects in the Washington, D.C. area. This role will support landowner outreach, communications development, and project coordination efforts, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and effective engagement.

To Apply: Submit resumes and cover letters through this posting. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.

Candidates from all backgrounds are welcome to apply for our open positions and to join our bench of talented professionals.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of landowner outreach strategies for multiple large-scale infrastructure and real estate acquisition projects, including developing, coordinating, and distributing landowner communications, mailings, notices, and other outreach materials.

  • Coordinate real estate and landowner outreach activities across government client teams, facilitating information sharing, tracking requests and action items, addressing outstanding needs, and supporting timely completion of project activities and milestones.

  • Maintain oversight of the Certificate of Inspection and Possession (CIP) process, including coordinating requests across project teams, reviewing submissions for completeness, tracking requests through completion, maintaining supporting documentation, and proactively following up on outstanding actions.

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standardized workflows, trackers, procedures, and guidance for CIP requests, landowner outreach, and other real estate coordination activities to promote consistency, reduce duplication, and improve efficiency and transparency across project teams.

  • Manage and maintain project tracking tools, schedules, and documentation for landowner outreach, communications, responses, CIP activities, key milestones, deadlines, points of contact, decisions, and action items, ensuring information is accurate, current, and readily accessible.

  • Monitor project activities to proactively identify potential issues, gaps, dependencies, or delays; coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to facilitate resolution; and track outstanding actions through closure.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports providing leadership with visibility into landowner outreach, CIP requests, project milestones, outstanding actions, emerging issues, and overall progress.

  • Perform other real estate outreach, project coordination, process management, and related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in real estate coordination, landowner outreach, project coordination, program support, communications, or related fields, preferably supporting federal government, infrastructure, real estate, or land acquisition projects.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating activities across multiple teams and maintaining project workflows, trackers, schedules, communication logs, action items, and supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing outreach materials, correspondence, procedures, guidance, status updates, and other project communications for a variety of stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, proactively identify potential issues or delays, and coordinate actions through resolution.

  • Experience developing, documenting, and improving processes and procedures to enhance consistency, efficiency, transparency, and coordination across project and government client teams. Experience supporting or coordinating the Certificate of Inspection and Possession (CIP) process or similar federal real estate acquisition processes is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; experience with SharePoint and other project tracking or collaboration tools preferred.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal suitability determination, public trust, or security clearance.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Thinks ahead and takes initiative.
  • Is service-oriented and attentive.
  • Communicates with clarity and candor.
  • Makes things happen. Takes ownership, solves problems, follows through, and finds practical ways to move work forward.
  • Is responsible and dependable.
  • Is comfortable with changing priorities and new challenges.
  • Brings commitment and a great attitude.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive health insurance
  • Vision, dental, and short-term and long-term disability
  • 401K with employer match (after six months of employment)
  • Federal and non-federal paid holidays
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Generous bonus program based on firm and individual performance
  • An opportunity to learn and grow in an inclusive and supportive environment with a fun team

Location:
