Non-Negotiables

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• You bring at least five years of experience in electrical distribution engineering
• You have direct experience working with utility clients
• You possess full project life cycle experience from concept through construction
• You are authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, as the client will not sponsor
• You are willing and able to work a hybrid schedule, with three in-office days per week at one of the designated locations

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single disciplinary lead for electrical distribution design on assigned projects
• Manage engineering activities across the entire project life cycle, from initial planning through construction support
• Develop engineering calculations, specifications, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings
• Provide technical guidance and rigorous quality review on all project deliverables
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team
• Support business development initiatives and cultivate strong client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is strongly preferred
• Experience with both overhead and underground distribution design is a significant advantage
• Familiarity with NESC, utility standards, and distribution planning is highly valued
• Hands-on experience with protection and automation systems will set you apart
• Strong client-facing communication and project coordination skills are essential
