Pharmacist Position at Integrated PharmacyIt's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.The Pharmacist works closely with other pharmacy staff to receive prescription orders and oversee prescription refills.This position supports Integrated Pharmacy, a subsidiary of LucyRx that operates two licensed pharmacies in Texas that exclusively dispense prescription medications to approved patient populations of contracted community behavioral health centers. This is an in-person, on-site Pharmacist role at our Plano pharmacy. This is not a remote position.Role and ResponsibilitiesFill prescriptions and review prescriptions filled by Pharmacy Technicians.Provide drug information and patient counseling as required by law.Maintain medication invoices, including controlled substance invoices.Perform inventories required by law.Provide guidance and counseling to support personnel.Maintain good relationship with clinic management and clinical staff.Interpret medication orders/prescriptions and review patient's medication profile for drug-drug interactions, appropriate dosing, and allergies.Maintain proper medication storage conditions and maintain temperature logs as required.Understand prescription billing requirements for different payors, including commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare-DProvide oversight of medication distribution to remote clinic locations.Demonstrate and promote excellent customer service.Other duties as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsHolds an active license from the Texas Board of Pharmacy; license is in good standing.Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy; Pharm.D. preferredMinimum of two years of pharmacist practice in retail, ambulatory, or hospital outpatient settings.Skills/CompetenciesExcellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with prescribers and patients.Demonstrates current knowledge of medication use and disease management.Demonstrates computer skills necessary to manage prescription dispensing.Understand quality control procedures and confidentiality requirements.Proficient in MS Word and Excel software.Demonstrates ability to manage personnel.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Pharmacists should have a degree of physical stamina as they might need to stand for longer periods of their shift when helping customers of filing prescriptions.
