Senior Helpers - Melbourne

Location: Melbourne, FLEmployment Type: Part-TimeSchedule: Flexible weekday hours Make a Difference Every Day Senior Helpers of Melbourne is looking for a caring and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing clinical team. This position is perfect for an LPN who enjoys working one-on-one with seniors, providing hands-on nursing care, and helping clients remain safe and independent in the comfort of their homes. You'll work alongside our Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care while enjoying a flexible schedule. Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing services within the LPN scope of practice under the supervision of the Registered Nurse
Perform routine nursing visits and client assessments
Monitor client conditions and promptly report changes to the RN and physician
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Reinforce education provided by the Registered Nurse
Assist with implementing and updating individualized care plans
Document all visits accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, caregivers, clients, and family members
Ensure compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and home health standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings

Qualifications

Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
Home Health, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Geriatric experience preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Current CPR certification
