Staff Practice Accountant

Our team is bringing together leaders to the market place to help drive OneOncology’s mission and vision.**Job Description:**The **Staff Accountant(Practice)** will report to the **Senior Accountants** for our corporate and practice teams.These positions will be responsible for performing the accounting functions including month-end close, revenue recognition, financial reporting, assisting with forecasting/budgeting, and providing monthly operating information. It is a great opportunity to develop skills in an active, collaborative, and growing environment with daily exposure to senior leadership.This is a hybrid role in Nashville, TN.**Responsibilities*** Work closely and proactively with the practice accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition, and reporting at each of the Company’s practices* Oversee and manage the month-end close process including coordination with FP&A, practice accounting, and clinical practice leaders* Work closely with corporate FP&A to produce Monthly Operating Reports for senior management, the Board, and practice leadership* Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with US GAAP* Preparing and reviewing ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis* Coordinate external audits, working closely with the independent accounting firm* Coordinate timely preparation and review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation activities, and financial reporting* Develop, document, implement and maintain the Company’s accounting policies and procedures* Research complex accounting issues and document technical accounting position papers* Identify areas of process improvement, recommend changes, and execute improvements* Additional responsibilities will be assigned to high performing individuals**Key Competencies*** Strong communication skills – ability to influence others while making direct points* Detail-oriented, natural ability to pay close attention to details* Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to research technical accounting matters* Ability to manipulate data to drive and expedite project analyses and completion* Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to offer alternative solutions to each problem* Ability to work in a geographically separated, cross-functional team environment* Proven collaboration skills, work with a sense of urgency, and prioritizes action items* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment**Qualifications*** Accounting degree (with graduate degree preferred, but not required)* 0-4+ years of accounting experience (will hire recent college graduates with requisite coursework and strong GPA)* Proven knowledge of GAAP, FASB, PCAOB, and SEC regulations* Strong knowledge of internal controls, best practices, and the ability to research and document accounting and financial topics required* Strong excel skills* Working knowledge of Workday or other ERP platforms is a plus* Active CPA license or working toward CPA license required* Experience or exposure to Healthcare is preferred but not required#LI-AN1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Astera Cancer Care
