About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse Emergency Services – Texas**Start Date:** November 2026 **Location:** Houston, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts (11a-11p or 3p-3a), 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period with every other weekend off

Highlights:

• Work in a 9-bed freestanding emergency department with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR and advanced equipment including Lifepack 15, C1 vent, Lucas device, and POC lab equipment
• Perform diverse emergency procedures including EKGs, PIV placement, ventilator and BiPap management, and point-of-care labs
• Collaborate with a dedicated team including a Charge Nurse and fellow RNs on each shift
• Opportunity to float to other freestanding emergency departments and main emergency department
• Professional dress code in royal blue scrubs

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience in a medium to high-volume ER setting
• ACLS, PALS, CPR, and TNCC certifications required
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) credential strongly preferred
• Experience with POC lab equipment (Picolo, EPOC, Triage Meter) preferred
• Flexible personality with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and patients
