Full-Time Remote Speech-Language Pathologist

A great School is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist / SLP to join their growing team for a contract assignment for the 26/27 school year! The Speech Language Pathologist / SLP is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require treatment for speech, hearing and or language deficits. The Speech Language Pathologist / SLP will teach patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase their oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively. Also, the Speech Language Pathologist / SLP will teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.

Requirements include:
NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities (TSSLD) required
MA Degree in Speech Language Pathology required
At least 6 months experience employing behavior analytic principles with children with ASD
Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) highly preferred
MUST have their CCCs
A Medicaid Provider ID is a PLUS
Must be open to working fully onsite
Must be open to EI ages
