About the role

This is an opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader to guide a team, build accountability, and help shape how work gets done today and into the future. The Production Supervisor will play a key role in creating a safe, organized, and high-performing environment where teammates understand expectations, receive coaching, and take ownership of results.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Execute the production schedule to support on-time delivery, quality expectations, and customer commitments.

·         Lead daily floor activities with clear communication, timely follow-up, and consistent accountability.

·         Ensure labor, quantity, and inventory transactions are entered accurately and on time.

·         Coach, mentor, and develop teammates through regular feedback, problem solving, and support.

·         Drive SQDC performance—Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost—and present weekly updates to the management team.

·         Track labor, evaluate staffing needs, and adjust priorities to meet production requirements.

·         Support the full teammate lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, development, and corrective action when needed.

·         Ensure adherence to company policies, good manufacturing practices, and handbook expectations.

·         Maintain 6S standards through regular auditing, coaching, and ownership of workplace organization.

·         Partner with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and other functional teams to resolve issues and recommend process or product improvements, including ECR opportunities.

A qualified candidate will be proactive, engaged, and committed to leading people while improving results. Requirements include:
 

·         3+ years of hands-on manufacturing leadership experience, including responsibility for daily production execution, labor planning, quality follow-up, and team performance.

·         Demonstrated ability to build trust, set expectations, coach teammates, and develop others.

·         Strong attendance, dependability, and personal accountability.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and functional areas.

·         Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and follow-through on corrective actions.

·         Comfortable with daily management routines, performance metrics, escalation, and follow-through on open issues.

·         Ability to lead effectively through changing priorities, schedule pressure, and ambiguity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

·         Experience using ERP or production systems for labor reporting, inventory transactions, production reporting, or schedule support. Experience in Syteline ERP a plus.

·         Good mechanical aptitude, technical manufacturing exposure, curiosity, and interest in understanding how equipment, processes, and products work.

·         Comfortable leading from the floor, removing barriers, and helping the team stay focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
