You’ll work directly with technical leaders, take meaningful ownership of challenging searches, and see the impact of your work as the team grows.About the roleWe’re looking for a Technical Sourcing Recruiter to help us find and engage the people building the future of connectivity.You’ll work closely with our recruiting lead and technical hiring managers to turn hiring priorities into focused sourcing strategies and strong candidate pipelines. You’ll own the front end of the recruiting process: understanding what each team needs, identifying promising talent, writing thoughtful outreach, and leading initial candidate conversations.This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys hard-to-fill technical searches, brings structure to ambiguous requirements, and builds relationships with people who may not be actively looking for their next opportunity.What you’ll doPartner with our recruiting lead and hiring managers to define candidate profiles, distinguish essential skills from preferences, and calibrate searches early.Build pipelines across technical disciplines such as software engineering, cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, wireless communications, and network engineering.Identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, technical communities, referrals, targeted research, and creative sourcing channels.Write personalized outreach that connects a candidate’s experience and interests to the work they could do at Skylo.Conduct initial screens to understand candidates’ relevant experience, motivations, career goals, and practical requirements.Deliver clear candidate summaries and thoughtful handoffs to the recruiting lead, maintaining engagement as candidates move through the process.Map relevant companies and talent markets, sharing insights that help the team refine requirements and prioritize searches.Track pipeline health, outreach response rates, and conversion to qualified interviews, using results and hiring manager feedback to improve your approach.Maintain accurate candidate records and build relationships with talent for both immediate and future opportunities.Broaden our reach through sourcing strategies that bring candidates with varied backgrounds and experiences into consideration.What you’ll bringExperience sourcing or recruiting technical talent, with examples of successfully engaging passive candidates for specialized or hard-to-fill roles.The ability to understand technical requirements and evaluate relevant experience beyond job titles and keyword matches.Strong research skills, including Boolean search, talent mapping, and finding candidates beyond standard recruiting databases.Clear, compelling writing and the confidence to lead credible conversations with technical candidates.Good judgment about candidate fit and the ability to explain your recommendations with specific evidence.Strong organization and follow-through across multiple searches and shifting priorities.A collaborative working style, openness to feedback, and the initiative to keep searches moving independently.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools, along with careful handling of candidate information.Nice to haveExperience recruiting in telecommunications, satellite communications, semiconductors, IoT, or related technical fields.Experience supporting a startup or a small recruiting team.Experience sourcing across international talent markets.Familiarity with embedded software, cellular networks, wireless protocols, or cloud and network infrastructure.What success looks likeYou build a clear understanding of Skylo’s technical hiring needs and become a trusted partner to the recruiting lead and hiring managers.
