Qualifications:
- Active General Education teaching license with appropriate subject endorsement
- Previous classroom experience in relevant subject areas preferred
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and academically rigorous classroom environment
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators, administrators, and support staff
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for adapting to the needs of diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support growth
- Employ varied instructional strategies to reach different learning styles
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and well-organized classroom culture
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives
- Participate in school events, professional development, and parent communication as needed
