POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director, Revenue Operations, you will join a collaborative team of finance professionals dedicated to a firmwide initiative to elevate revenue cycle administration to best practice standards. This role oversees the setup of alternative fee arrangements, billing guidelines, contract terms, and e-billing implementation, working closely as a key stakeholder of the revenue cycle function. This is an exempt position based in our Chicago office, with standard hours of 8:45 AM–5:15 PM, Monday through Friday, and additional hours as needed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and oversee a centralized tracking system to ensure successful implementation of e-billing, client arrangements, client guidelines, and finance SOPs, with the ability to quickly access details and respond to time-sensitive requests. Establish coordination instructions for team assignments related to the set-up, implementation, and maintenance of all electronic billing on third-party vendor sites, including managing external e-billing consultants and helping ensure budgets, accruals, timekeepers, rates, status updates, and rejections are addressed in a timely manner. Develop workflows to disseminate billing guidelines to internal customers in a timely manner to achieve optimal firmwide adherence. Maintain a calendar of key client dates for rate increase submissions and other client notifications; provide advance notice of key dates and deliverables to the Pricing and Billing teams, as well as to relationship partners. Ensure written documentation of all client processes associated with managing client requirements compliance is up to date, organized, and audit ready. Monitor workloads, quality of work, and adherence to established firm policies and procedures. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. Prior law firm experience. Experience in Elite 3E, eBillingHub, InTapp Intake, and ServiceNow; Rippe LMSV billing system a plus. Well organized with strong attention to detail and good business judgment; capable of handling sensitive information with appropriate discretion. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with SharePoint, database management, and data presentation software(s). Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently explain complex concepts to professionals of varying backgrounds. Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility with assigned tasks amid changing deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. The anticipated pay range for this role is $117,000 to $157,000 in Chicago.
