RN Registered Nurse - PACU 1 - Full Time - Multiple Shifts Available - New Premiums Join our team at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital and discover a career that goes beyond the bedside! Our hospital is a destination for specialty care including heart, cancer, and stroke care. We offer a range of minimally invasive procedures using robotic-assisted technology, imaging, and a inpatient rehabilitation center, all on one campus. PACU 1 is a perioperative unit responsible for preparing patients for surgery and cardiac catheterization procedures, as well as providing Phase II recovery for post-operative and post-procedure patients. Nurses work collaboratively with anesthesia care providers and physicians to ensure safe, efficient patient care throughout the surgical and procedural experience. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment and preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, patient monitoring, education, and discharge readiness.

REQUIREMENTS

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 60 days of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 90 days of hire date or job transfer date required. Or Certified Instructor. Education: Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
