Responsibilities The Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for our Admissions Department to join our team: Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24-hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services. Primary responsibilities include performing assessments and contraband searches before a patient is transferred to their designated unit, communicating nursing hand‑off information to the Nursing department, assisting during downtime with making referrals to in‑house physicians to assess qualification for admission, providing a resource to handle overflow intake referrals to minimize loss of referrals, and monitoring intake flow via dashboard.
