Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference this summer by providing instruction and support for elementary students in a focused Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contracted opportunity involves working with an essential skills caseload at the elementary level near Kansas City, MO. The assignment spans June 1 through June 25, running Monday through Thursday for a total of 25 hours per week. You'll be working alongside an experienced team dedicated to student success and will have the support you need as you help students flourish. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid MO Special Education Teacher certification required
• Recent experience in special education, preferably in an ESY or essential skills setting
• Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized instructional plans
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction for students with essential skills needs in a small-group setting
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the specific requirements of each student
• Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation
• Collaborate with staff, related service providers, and families to ensure student success
• Help create a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere
