Veterinary Medical Director - Worthington Woods Animal Care Center | Worthington (Columbus), Ohio Worthington Woods Animal Care Center is seeking an experienced DVM to lead our fun, hardworking clinical team! The Medical Director role combines hands on patient care with leadership of our DVM team and medical support staff. In collaboration with our hospital management team, the medical director is responsible for providing excellent patient and client care, mentoring associate veterinarians, and maintaining our positive, team-centric culture. We are actively growing and investing in our practice! We are finishing an expansion/remodel creating an additional treatment area and more exam rooms. In this role, you will have the space and support to grow. Who are we looking for? DVM / VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school 5+ years of experience in small animal medicine (preferred) Proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills Ohio veterinary license (or ability to obtain) A good human who plays nice with pets and people Has strong communication skills and a desire to foster lasting relationships with clients, their pets, and other WWACC team members Takes pride in their work and strives to provide a memorable client experience with each appointment Has a willingness to guide, mentor, and be a member of the team What can we offer you?
