Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload typical to post-acute care and to document per facility and regulatory requirements preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with gait training, transfers, therapeutic exercise, and restorative nursing programs preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Work Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
• Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
• Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled physical therapy services in a skilled nursing facility. Manage treatment plans, progress documentation, and interdisciplinary communication to support patient mobility and functional independence. Maintain compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
