General Job Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones and prostate issues. Perform various surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies and prostatectomies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients. Minimum Education Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required. Certifications: Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). Active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts.
