This contract opportunity offers a dynamic role that combines a passion for student progress with a collaborative school environment. The selected professional will work full time (35-37.5 hours per week) from August 2026 through June 2027, serving both a special education preschool and an elementary school in a split role, ensuring a rewarding and diverse experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Strong ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple age groups
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Adaptability to adjust between preschool and elementary settings
• Dedication to evidence-based interventions and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students at both the special education preschool and elementary school
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff
• Maintain detailed progress records and adjust interventions to achieve measurable outcomes
• Offer consultative guidance to teachers and parents regarding effective communication strategies
• Help create a supportive and inclusive setting for all students
