Senior Program Controls Specialist

Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts, and financial performance Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, milestones, and deliverables Monitor project performance and identify cost, schedule, and execution risks Support installation and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle Track projects from planning and budgeting through installation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and closeout Partner with Project Management, Finance, Engineering, Field Service, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders Ensure project compliance, reporting, and adherence to Honeywell processes and standards Provide financial, schedule, and performance reporting to leadership Support automation solutions serving building, industrial, and process sectors Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or related field 6 or more years of experience in program controls, project controls, project management, or a related field Strong experience with project budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost control Strong understanding of project scheduling, timelines, and schedule control Experience supporting projects through the full project lifecycle Experience identifying and mitigating cost, schedule, compliance, and execution risks Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with Finance, Project Management, Engineering, Field Service, Installation, contractors, and customers Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC Controls, Fire & Security, or building systems experience preferred but not required Experience supporting installation, implementation, commissioning, or field service projects preferred SAP experience preferred Advanced Excel and financial reporting/forecasting skills preferred Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools preferred PMP or project controls certification preferred Experience with change management, scope control, earned value, or cost-to-complete forecasting preferred Experience working in a matrix organization or global company preferred Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills preferred Candidate must be a US citizen, permanent resident, asylum/refugee, or able to get export approval Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing project budgets, financial performance, and compliance while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
