Assistant Store Manager - Bleecker

Summary The Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager to lead the store team, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service and adherence to visual merchandising and operational standards. They support recruitment, coaching, training, and development of staff and act as the senior store presence in the Store Manager's absence. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and local market engagement to meet store KPIs. Responsibilities Lead and coach the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and store sales goals and KPIs. Ensure exceptional customer experience, clienteling, and effective fitting room and POS execution. Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and staff development. Maintain visual merchandising standards, floor replenishment, inventory processes, and opening/closing procedures. Complete required reporting, timekeeping, and partner with stock team on cycle and inventory counts. Requirements Minimum 3 years retail experience with at least 2 years of supervisory responsibility. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Strong computer skills (MS Office) and experience with retail systems such as Teamwork. Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, multi-task, and lead a store team to meet business objectives.
