Aerospace Software Engineer

Your impact Blacklynx, a Jacobs company, is seeking a talented and motivated Mid-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities: Work scope may include the following duties: Proficiency with Go programming language and best practices or other modern languages Knowledge of Git version control Knowledge of Git workflows and branching strategies Experience with RESTful API design and implementation Understanding of distributed systems patterns and challenges Strong Experience with containerization and Docker Experience with testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing Experience coaching and mentoring junior employees *This list is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities. Here’s what you’ll need Preferred: Experience with frontend development utilizing Angular Experience with Kubernetes deployments and management in production Experience with Kubernetes package management utilizing Helm Knowledge of WebAssembly and wasmCloud or similar platforms Configuring and managing Traefik or other API gateways/ingress controllers Familiarity with observability tools Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues Knowledge of security best practices in microservices Clearance Required TS/SCI Clearance required to start this role. Minimum Years of Experience BS degree from an accredited school and two (2) to five (5) years' experience. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
