We are actively seeking qualified substitute teachers who are eager to deepen their understanding of gifted education or bring experience from a gifted program. Current certification is preferred, but passionate individuals committed to student success are encouraged to apply.

As a substitute teacher at SAA, you will:
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum objectives, creating a seamless and enriching learning experience.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and minimizes distractions.
• Communicate insights on student progress to the lead teacher effectively.
• Supervise students kindly and confidently in various settings, including hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in education or a related field.
• A genuine interest in working with gifted students or experience in a gifted setting.
• Prior substitute teaching experience is advantageous.
• Teaching credentials are highly valued.
• Successfully completed background check.
