Shift schedule: 12pm-8pm

About the Role:

As an Activities Aide at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by developing and implementing engaging activities, programs, and events. With a focus on adults with diverse needs, you will work closely with our activities team to create a stimulating environment that fosters socialization, independence, and overall well-being.

Activities Aide Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily activities, including crafts, games, outings, and entertainment programs, to cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents

• Assist with daily living activities, such as mealtime assistance, grooming, and mobility assistance, as needed

• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and participation

• Collaborate with the activities team to develop and implement new programs, ensuring they align with our residents' preferences and needs

• Promote a positive and respectful environment, encouraging socialization and community building among residents

Activities Aide Requirements:

• Prior experience in activities, recreation, or a related field preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
