Physician Cardiology - Competitive Salary

Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Hospital Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Various dates; includes weekdays and weekends with a mix of day shifts and night call coverage Patient Population: Adult Location: Gettysburg, PA Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Hospital coverage includes consults, outpatient and inpatient catheterizations, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs). Participate in an average of 15 consults and 3 procedures per day. Provide ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) call during specified hours. Qualifications Must be at least board eligible in cardiology. Required to have a valid PA medical license and a DEA license. Working Hours Schedule includes a mix of day shifts from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with night beeper call from 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Weekend STEMI call is from 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM. Skills Proficient in TEEs, echo readings, cardiac catheterizations, and cardiac windows. Experience with Epic EMR is advantageous.
