We are excited to announce an opening for an Intellectual Property Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Clarivate. This is a proactive, sales-focused role that emphasizes identifying, prospecting, and securing new clients. In this position, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth by uncovering opportunities within target accounts, conducting outbound prospecting, and nurturing relationships with new customers. As the owner of the complete sales cycle — from lead generation and initial discovery to solution presentation and closing deals — you will consistently meet or exceed your revenue goals. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will effectively position Clarivate's innovative solutions to solve customer challenges, create compelling value propositions, and convert leads into long-term partners. About You - Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. At least 2 years of experience in software sales or a consultative sales role. Drive sales performance by meeting targets and identifying upselling opportunities. Provide accurate sales data to management through ongoing communication. Engage with customers and leads, adhering to the established sales processes. Assess customer needs and assist in presenting tailored solutions. Manage customer opportunities throughout the sales process, from identifying needs to quoting, negotiating, and closing sales. Enhance your understanding of Clarivate products and services to ensure effective support of our offerings. Participate in meetings and events, sharing insights about customers, products, and sales strategies with the broader team. Maintain the established volume of meetings to ensure consistent engagement and productivity. Help identify potential roles within existing accounts to expand business prospects. About the Team As a member of the Hunter Sales Team at Clarivate, you will collaborate with four other dedicated sales professionals across the United States, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Sales. Hours of Work This is a full‑time, permanent position. This hybrid role requires working 2-3 days a week in one of our Clarivate offices located in Tempe AZ, Kansas City MO, Alexandria VA, Ann Arbor MI, or Philadelphia PA. Willingness to travel 1-2 times per month as needed.
