Legacy Turkey has full-time, benefits eligible, Live Haul - Bird Mover roles available. 

• Sunday - Thursday and Friday/Saturday as needed; start times vary
• Repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching and lift up to 50lb
• Pay Range: varies based on experience

What you will do:

• Work as part of the Live Haul crew to safely and efficiently load turkeys according to established procedures.
• Follow all Live Haul safety, animal welfare and sanitation requirements.
• Properly wear required respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment.
• Follow the personal hygiene policy, which requires employees in this position to be clean-shaven to ensure respiratory equipment fits properly.
• Perform other position-specific duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What to expect:

• Work shifts that may vary based on production and transportation schedules.
• Work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
• Perform repetitive movements, including lifting, bending, reaching, pulling and twisting.
• Frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Wear respiratory protection and other required personal protective equipment.
• Work closely with other crew members in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Minimum qualifications:

• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to safely wear respiratory protection equipment.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
