Join a dedicated team as an Electrical Technician in Harmony, NC, where you will play a crucial role in assembling medical RVs for patients in rural areas. These specialized vehicles, including blood drive RVs, Mobile PET Scan RVs, and Breast Cancer screening RVs, are essential for providing healthcare access to those unable to reach a hospital. You will be responsible for wiring and preparing these vehicles for the road, ensuring they are fully functional.

Responsibilities

• Wire up gearboxes and motors, handling up to 480 volts.

• Work in ergonomically tight spaces, which involves bending, squatting, and reaching.

• Read and understand blueprints or schematics.

• Undergo approximately 90 days of training to work independently.

• Assemble and wire gutted RVs following specifications and drawings.

• Complete an RV from start to finish within 12-15 weeks.

Essential Skills

• Electrical experience from start to finish.

• Familiarity with blueprint reading.

• Proficiency in repair and usage of hand tools.

• Experience in electronics, wiring, installation, and pulling wire.

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform electrical maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable working in non-climate controlled environments.

• Skill in using hand tools and power tools.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled environment, where temperatures can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. The role involves working the first shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harmony, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
