Position Overview Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a hospital-based medical/surgical setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment and discharge planning.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding care goals and treatment plans.
• Prioritize and organize patient care activities while adapting to changing clinical needs.
• Identify potential patient safety risks related to diagnoses, medications, procedures, and age-specific considerations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to support team members.
• Maintain professional accountability through ongoing education, competency development, and adherence to clinical standards.

Qualifications Required

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Minimum 6 months of RN acute care experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Status: Full-Time

Shift: Days (Shift 1)

Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

On-Call: No
