Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in acute care License: RN license Certifications: ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience Recent acute care experience Ability to manage a 6 patient ratio Travel experience Description: Join a community hospital that is a regional referral center. The facility is a certified chest pain center with a Level 3 trauma designation. The unit consists of 40 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Equipment used includes IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, and drug dispensing cabinets. The electronic health record system utilized is Medhost. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common patient conditions include total joint patients, surgical patients, and acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF and CKD. Seeking individuals who are compassionate, possess a positive outlook, and have a can-do attitude. Preceptor and charge experience is a plus. Floating to other units in the facility is an expectation. Dress code requires black scrubs, with no open shoes.
