This role is insight‑driven and highly analytical, focused on turning complex benefits and claims data into clear recommendations that influence strategy and outcomes.In long, as the Claims Insight Analyst (Specialist, Total Rewards), you will be responsible for:Analyzing medical, pharmacy, and ancillary claims data to identify cost drivers, utilization trends, risks, and savings opportunitiesBuilding and maintaining recurring dashboards and reports to monitor plan performance, enrollment trends, and key financial metricsTranslating complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for HR partners and senior leadershipPartnering with Finance on benefits budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisConducting regular audits of benefits vendors, billing, eligibility files, and claims administrationIdentifying discrepancies, overpayments, and process gaps, and partnering with vendors to resolve issuesMonitoring vendor performance against SLAs and recommending improvementsSupporting RFPs, vendor evaluations, renewals, and benchmarking initiativesIdentifying unusual trends, outliers, and anomalies in claims and billing data and investigating root causesRecommending corrective actions and cost‑containment or plan design strategies based on data findingsSupporting wellness, population health, and engagement initiatives through data‑driven insightsEnsuring reporting and audit readiness to support compliance with federal and state regulationsContinuously improving data processes, reporting tools, and analytics capabilitiesPartnering cross‑functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendorsSo What Kind of Folks Are We Looking For?A strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problemsHigh attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrityAbility to turn numbers into meaningful stories and actionable recommendationsCuriosity and a continuous improvement mindsetStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholdersComfort managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentThe Specifics2–5+ years of experience in benefits, total rewards, HR analytics, finance, or healthcare data analysisBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Analytics, or a related field preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel required, including working with large and complex data setsNice to HaveExperience working with medical, pharmacy, or ancillary claims dataExperience with HRIS or benefits administration platformsFamiliarity with BI or data visualization tools such as Power BI or TableauExperience supporting vendor audits, RFPs, or benchmarking initiativesSo What About the Perks?
