Senior Tax Analyst

Job Description

Our client is looking to add a Senior Tax Analyst to its growing corporate tax team. This isn't a pure prep role. They need someone who can step in and actually own things - splitting time between compliance, tax provision, and research, while also reviewing what other people on the team are producing and becoming one of the go-to people when something's complicated.

What you'll be doing:

\n
• Reviewing and leading assigned work across compliance, provision, and reporting
\n
• Conducting tax research and modeling on complex issues (ETR, transactions, entity structuring)
\n
• Supporting federal and state tax return prep/review, R&D credit, 199A, Form 3115, and similar filings
\n
• Preparing/reviewing tax provision work — ASC 740, FIN 48, footnotes, account reconciliations
\n
• Helping integrate newly acquired or formed entities
\n
• Acting as a liaison with global affiliates and supporting non-US tax matters
\n

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
\n
• 4+ years of corporate tax experience
\n
• Solid federal/state/foreign tax background, including research
\n
• Experience reviewing the work of junior staff
\n
• Comfortable with ERPs, consolidation systems, and data tools
\n
• Bonus if you've worked with BNA or CCH Axcess
\n
