Position Overview:

In this advanced role as an allied imaging professional, you will work alongside a diverse team to deliver top-notch imaging services. These services encompass ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The main objective of the Mammography Technologist role is to conduct high-quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologists with specialized procedures aimed at the early detection of breast abnormalities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program in accordance with MQSA standards
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (M)
• Certification from the Texas Department of State Health
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• ARRT (R) certification; the employee must obtain ARRT (M) license within one year of finishing orientation

Our organization is a 314-bed, comprehensive acute care teaching hospital serving Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster in southwestern Dallas County.
