As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.71 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat12:0 0 AM - 08:00 AM Sun12:0 0 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel. Minimum Requirements: At least six months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
