Patient Financial Services Representative Endocrinology

Location: Greeley, Colorado (initially at 1800 15th St, Suite 200; future relocation to Timnath, 4650 Signal Tree Dr, Building B, Unit 200 around October2026). Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5/8 or 4/10 schedule, 7:00am–5:00pm. Position Summary As a Patient Financial Services Representative, you will coordinate smooth patient flow by answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing registration and insurance information, verifying coverage, collecting payments, and providing financial guidance to patients and families. Core Functions Perform registration/check‑in processes, including data entry, providing patients with appropriate information and intake forms, obtaining necessary signatures, and generating population health summaries. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, assist with pre‑certification, referrals, and authorizations. Calculate and collect patient liability based on insurance verification, explain financial policies, and inform patients of alternative payment arrangements. Enter payments and charges, perform daily reconciliation, balance cash drawer, and prepare daily bank deposits for centralized billing. Schedule office visits and procedures, maximize reimbursement by aligning appointments with payor plan provisions, and confirm daily appointments. Communicate proactively with patients via telephone, email, and in‑person interactions, providing excellent customer service. Respond to requests for patient medical records in accordance with company policies, state and federal laws. Assist with various patient services to support flow, including escorting patients, taking vitals, assisting in treatment, distributing mail/fax, and ordering supplies. Work independently under supervision, manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment, and exercise sound judgment in prioritizing workload. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least one year of experience in patient financial services, billing, or insurance processes. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Proficiency with common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs. For positions at Banner Behavioral Health sites serving children, possession of an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and an Arizona Criminal History Affidavit is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Banner systems and processes. Prior cash collections experience. Additional related education or experience.
