Phlebotomist IPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client's healthcare facility in Clermont FL 34711. Schedule: Working every Tuesday thru Saturday: 6:30am to 3:30pm. Off every Sunday and Monday. Location: Clermont FL 34711. Job Type: Local contract. Contract Length: 06+months with possible extension. Pay Range: $19.00 to $21.26/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and capillary blood draws.Collect blood specimens from patients of various age groups.Verify patient identity and confirm test orders.Properly label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.Follow infection control, safety, and standard operating procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Provide excellent patient care and ensure a comfortable experience.Maintain phlebotomy equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.Handle specimen transportation and storage according to established protocols.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous phlebotomy experience preferred; entry-level candidates may be considered depending on the role.Phlebotomy certification preferred or required, depending on the assignment.Knowledge of venipuncture techniques, specimen handling, and safety protocols.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Additional RequirementsFlexibility to work assigned shifts and weekends, if required.Reliable transportation to the assigned work location.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive blood draws.Successful completion of applicable background checks and onboarding requirements.Equal Employment OpportunityPrideGlobal and it's affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
