Manufacturing Production Engineer

TypeContractExperience-1Job Description:Looking for a motivated Production Engineer to join our team to help support operations with the assembly, test, certification, and shipment of our optical, resistivity, and thin-film thickness measurement systemsResponsibilities:Act as a liaison between production and design engineering, facilitating the successful transition of new products into manufacturing processes.Identify opportunities for yield enhancement and cycle time reduction, implementing solutions to optimize production efficiency.Conduct in-depth analysis of product failures, identifying root causes and collaborating with the team to implement corrective actions.Create and refine work instructions and operational procedures to ensure clarity, simplicity, and efficiency in production workflows.Utilize ERP systems for managing bills of materials and material movement, ensuring effective tracking and organization within the production environment.Experience:Demonstrated experience in the development of production documentation.Demonstrated experience in the development of manufacturing processes and process improvements.Experience developing and implementing Quality, SPC, and Safety systems.Demonstrated experience in maintaining accurate BOM and cost information.Skills:Manufacturing backgroundMechanical /Electrical /Optical exp.Engineering ProductionCAD/SolidWorksStatistical Process Control (SPC)Education:A bachelor’s degree (required), master’s or advanced degree (desired) in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Systems Engineering or Physics/Materials Science.About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
