Entry Level Chemist

Eurofins seeks an entry-level chemist to perform analytical testing on pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products using various laboratory instruments. The role involves sample preparation, method validation, equipment maintenance, and GMP-compliant documentation in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of pharmaceutical ingredients and products
• Operate chromatographic systems, HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV/Spec, and other analytical instruments independently
• Prepare samples and standards for analysis with minimal supervision
• Set up and validate new analytical processes and execute method transfers
• Perform monthly equipment maintenance and maintain GMP-compliant documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without sponsorship
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with self-motivation
• Capability to learn new techniques and manage multiple concurrent tasks
