Job Description Job Description Our Assembly Technician is a key role in our Distribution team. In this role, you would be responsible for the assembly and testing of hydraulic systems including; valves, pumps, motors, PTO's, and other products sold by FORCE America. Due to the variety of components and variation of builds, unique assembly abilities are needed. FORCE America has been an employee-owned hydraulic manufacturer and distributor for over 70 years. Responsibilities: Assemble fundamental components in accordance with the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Tests all assembled systems for standard expectations of quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications consistently and correctly. Maintains system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system. Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc. Maintain safe and orderly work area. Participate in the implementation of process improvements. Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures. Participate as a team member to achieve goals. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of relevant work experience, preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer. Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality. Customer focused. Working Hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Air power tools, electric drill, drill press, crimping machines, grinders (both hand and bench), wrenches, heat guns, lathe, torches, welders, a variety of hand tools, mills, and electric cords. Must be able to move objects/parts/tools and equipment from one area to another and one level to another level. Strong hand-eye coordination Standing or sitting for up to 4 hours at a time.
