Security Engineering Lead

Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and securing AWS cloud infrastructures.

• Proficiency in artificial intelligence security encompassing generative AI, agentic workflows, and LLM applications.

• Experience in securing Snowflake data platforms utilizing advanced role-based access controls and masking policies.

• Experience with on-premises infrastructure security encompassing Active Directory, firewalls, and endpoint protection.

• Experience in deploying DevSecOps pipelines, infrastructure-as-code security, and vulnerability management.

• Experience with navigating financial services regulatory audits and third-party vendor risk assessments.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively mentor teams and advise executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy comprehensive cybersecurity controls across on-premises infrastructure, cloud networks, and data platforms.

• Engineer secure-by-design AWS environments encompassing IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and continuous monitoring.

• Implement robust security guardrails for internally developed artificial intelligence applications to mitigate prompt injection and data leakage.

• Manage and mentor a specialized team of security engineers while operating as the primary hands-on technical architect.

• Configure Snowflake security features including row-level access, data classification, and multi-factor authentication integrations.

• Harden legacy data center networks through advanced vulnerability management, privileged access controls, and SIEM monitoring.

• Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical controls and resolve audit findings.
